Biography

Paula Liz (she/her/ella), born in Puerto Rico and raised near Baltimore, is an experienced bilingual art educator with a BFA and MAT from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

She has taught in various schools across multiple states for over a decade and was named Maryland Art Educator of the Year in 2022. She co-authored Anti-Racist Art Activities for Kids (2023) and authored Be a Creative Changemaker (2024).
